**Three Pirates made Baseball America’s updated Top 100 prospects. RHP Mitch Keller is the Pirates top rated prospect coming in at #15. No doubt due to injuries, OF Austin Meadows dropped from #4 to #22. Same goes for shortstop Kevin Newman who went from #50 down to #88.

**The Pirates bullpen has received justified criticism this season but in the four-game series against Philadelphia they were tremendous. In 11 innings, the Pirates pen didn’t allow a run.

**An offensive explosion last night for the Indianapolis Indians as they clubbed Columbus, 21-1. The Pirates AAA team hit seven homeruns and out-hit Columbus, 22-8. Homerun hitters last night were Chris Bostick (#7), Jacob Stallings (#2), Danny Ortiz hit two (#7), Eric Wood (#10), Joey Terdoslavich (#3) and recently promoted Jordan Luplow (#3). Tyler Glasnow was the beneficiary of all these runs. On the mound, Glasnow went 5.2 innings, allowing 5 hits, 1 ER, 2 walks and struck out 7 batters.
