For the first time in the organization’s history, two members of the Indianapolis Indians won the weekly player of the weeks awards. Starter Steven Brault and Jason Rogers were named the AAA Pitcher and Hitter of the week.

For the week, Rogers hit .400 with two doubles, two home runs and a league-high eleven RBI’s. For the week, Rogers collected eleven hits and twenty-two total bases. In 38 games this season, Rogers is hitting .291 with 6 HR’s and 22 RBI’s.

On the mound, Brault allowed just 1 run and 5 hits in 13 innings of work. For the season, Brault is 2-3 with a 2.54 ERA. The left-hander has struck out 45 hitters in 49 innings pitched.

Nice outing yesterday by Indianapolis starter Steven Brault as he pitched 7 innings, allowing 3 hits, 0 ER, 1 walk and struck out 4 hitters.
